Who doesn't love it when a plan comes together? The sense of accomplishment and success it gives is like no other, that is if that is your definition of success. The small group of passionate members who are planning and guiding the 3rd Annual UAC Medieval Faire, which benefits Relay For Life, have been hard at it since mid-March. We've accomplished so much in such a short time.
We've had a lot of firsts this year too; two sims for a month, new merchant and sponsorship levels which have enticed businesses to put their stamp of approval on our growing event. Another first is our media partnership with Gorean Whip Radio, they are so supportive of other teams and ready to put their support where their mouth is, so to speak. We have firsts in the blogging area too, with over 20 blogger applications submitted. Wow! And new this year is our Gotya Garden, which is proving to be pretty popular.
The merchant slots are filling up fast and what event runner isn't thrilled when that happens? Areas that need a tighter plan coming together are sponsorships and entertainment. There is great joy in sharing your talent with others and we hope that many more djs, live performers, dance companies, fire-eaters, jugglers, Shakespearean insult throwers will join in the fun with us and make this the best faire yet!
All sign-ups from Sponsor to fire eater are all on our website www.uacmedievalfairerflofsl.com or contact Mary Teodosio via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or contact an area lead inworld:
