Who doesn't love it when a plan comes together? The sense of accomplishment and success it gives is like no other, that is if that is your definition of success. The small group of passionate members who are planning and guiding the 3rd Annual UAC Medieval Faire, which benefits Relay For Life, have been hard at it since mid-March. We've accomplished so much in such a short time.
We've had a lot of firsts this year too; two sims for a month, new merchant and sponsorship levels which have enticed businesses to put their stamp of approval on our growing event. Another first is our media partnership with Gorean Whip Radio, they are so supportive of other teams and ready to put their support where their mouth is, so to speak. We have firsts in the blogging area too, with over 20 blogger applications submitted. Wow! And new this year is our Gotya Garden, which is proving to be pretty popular.
The merchant slots are filling up fast and what event runner isn't thrilled when that happens? Areas that need a tighter plan coming together are sponsorships and entertainment. There is great joy in sharing your talent with others and we hope that many more djs, live performers, dance companies, fire-eaters, jugglers, Shakespearean insult throwers will join in the fun with us and make this the best faire yet!
All sign-ups from Sponsor to fire eater are all on our website www.uacmedievalfairerflofsl.com or contact Mary Teodosio via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or contact an area lead inworld:

Do you ever think where has the time gone? It seems like just a few months ago that we closed the gates to the faire grounds; the sun setting on two weeks of great friends, fun, tournaments, music, and some of the best shopping inworld. It's time to put the fond memories back in the chest and remember that we are mid-stream in the planning process of the 3rd Annual UAC Medieval Faire benefiting Relay For Life. This year the faire runs from May 19 - June 18, 2017 and it promises to be filled with even more fun with great friends, music, laughter, exciting tournaments, and shopping!
This year the faire will be held on two sims which will be split between the village and the tournament grounds. Be on the lookout for our new travelers' camp and gotya (gacha) garden, as well as the usual tournaments and merchants. Plan on spending your weekends wandering around the faire and interacting with staff, roleplayers, and other faire goers as we join together to go Medieval on Cancer!
If you have a love of the medieval period or fantasy we have a place at the faire for you, either as a tournament champion, entertainer, roleplayer, merchant, gotya creator, or sponsor!! Don't miss the opportunity to show your love of Medieval -Fantasy or your passion for the Relay For Life cause. Check out our website www.uacmedievalfairerflofsl.com you can sign up there. If you want more information contact Mary Teodosio inworld (second life).
